Situated at an altitude of 4,500 meters (14,764 feet), it offers breathtaking mountain views, diverse landscapes, and a sense of tranquility away from the crowds. Mardi Himal Trek is a less crowded and off-the-beaten-path trek, perfect for those seeking solitude and tranquility. The trail is well-defined but less developed compared to popular treks in the region. Teahouses and guesthouses along the way provide basic accommodation and warm hospitality. This trek is suitable for trekkers with a moderate level of fitness and some prior trekking experience. It offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Himalayas, experience local culture, and create unforgettable memories in one of the most awe-inspiring mountain landscapes in the world.

Tour Itinerary
Upon landing at Tribhuwan International Airport, complete the immigration and customs procedures. Then Head to your hotel and complete the check-in process. Then we will be going to explore Boudhanath and Pashupatinath.
Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Nepal and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, holding great religious and cultural importance. Pashupatinath is one of the principal deities in Hinduism and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bagmati River flowing beside Pashupatinath is considered holy, and the temple complex houses several cremation Ghats where Hindu funeral rites are performed.
Boudhanath: Boudha is also known as Boudhanath. It is located about 11km from the center and northeastern outskirt of Kathmandu, its massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. It symbolizes the three-dimensional reminder of Buddha's path toward enlightenment. The base of the stupa symbolizes Earth, the Kumbha (white dome) symbolizes water, the spire symbolizes air and the top-most umbrella shape symbolizes void.
Overnight at Hotel
On day second, you will be driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a popular tourist destination and the gateway to the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. Pokhara is 210 km from Kathmandu and is 8 hour's drive approx. Once you reach Pokhara, you can check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the lakeside area simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

On our third day, we will be starting our trek after a one-hour drive from Pokhara to Kande.
We will start our trek from Kande and hike through rhododendron forests and charming villages. The distance from Kande to Forest Camp is approximately 10. The trekking time to reach Forest Camp from Kande can vary depending on your pace, fitness level, and weather conditions. On average, it takes around 4-6 hours to complete this section of the trek. The path is well-marked and moderately steep in some sections. As you trek further, you'll pass through beautiful landscapes, terraced fields, and small streams. The trail gradually gains elevation, providing scenic views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre.
As you reach Forest Camp, you'll find teahouses and guesthouses where you can relax, enjoy a warm meal, and spend the night before continuing your journey toward higher altitudes.

On our fourth day after breakfast, we will trek from Forest Camp to high camp. The distance from Forest Camp to High Camp is approximately 7 kilometers. The average trekking time to reach High Camp from Forest Camp is around 4-6 hours, depending on your pace and trail conditions. The trail from Forest Camp to High Camp offers a gradual ascent through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows. You'll continue to gain elevation as you make your way toward the higher camp. The path is well-defined and marked, ensuring that you stay on track. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare. As you ascend, the vegetation starts to change, and you'll notice a transition from forests to more open landscapes. High Camp is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,700 meters (12,139 feet). Once you reach there, you'll be surrounded by the stunning Himalayan panorama. Take some time to rest, acclimatize, and enjoy the majestic views of the surrounding peaks.

On our fifth day of the Mardi Himal Trek, you will trek from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp and return to High Camp. The average trekking time to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp from High Camp is around 2-3 hours, and the return journey takes approximately 3 hours. The total time spent on this day will depend on your pace, weather conditions, and the amount of time you spend at the base camp. As you hike toward the base camp, you'll experience the thrill of being closer to the towering Himalayan peaks. Mardi Himal Base Camp, situated at an altitude of approximately 4,500 meters (14,764 feet), provides a spectacular vantage point to admire the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
After spending quality time at Mardi Himal Base Camp, you'll retrace your steps and descend back to High Camp. The return journey is relatively faster, but it's important to descend carefully and watch your footing. Upon reaching High Camp, you can relax, rejuvenate, and savor the panoramic mountain views. Spend the night at a teahouse or guesthouse in High Camp, reflecting on the incredible adventure you've had so far.

On our day we will trek from High Camp to Siding Village. The distance from High Camp to Siding Village is approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles). The average trekking time to reach Siding Village from High Camp is around 6-8 hours, depending on your pace, weather conditions, and trail conditions. The trail from High Camp to Siding Village involves descending through a diverse landscape, passing through forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages. After several hours of descent, you'll reach Siding Village, situated at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters (5,577 feet). Siding Village is a small settlement with a few teahouses and guesthouses where you can find accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

On our day seventh we will trek from Siding Village to Lumre and then drive to Pokhara. The distance from Siding Village to Lumre is approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles). The average trekking time to reach Lumre from Siding Village is around 3-4 hours, depending on your pace and trail conditions. The trail from Siding Village to Lumre is mostly a downhill trek, passing through terraced fields, charming villages, and scenic landscapes. Upon reaching Lumre, a small village, you'll conclude your trekking portion of the Mardi Himal Trek. From Lumre, you'll proceed to Pokhara. The drive from Lumre to Pokhara takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the road conditions and traffic. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you can check into your hotel and relax for a while then we will take the opportunity to explore Phewa Lake.

After breakfast, the day starts with moving back to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is 210 km from Pokhara and is 7 hour's drive approx. The duration of the drive will depend on traffic conditions, road conditions, and your starting point after reaching Kathmandu you can take a rest inside the hotel or can enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu.

On the ninth day, it's time for your final departure from Kathmandu. The last day morning will be free and near the time of your flight. You will be at the airport within the time to board your flight for the onward trip.
