The Annapurna Sanctuary trek is been one of the most popular two-week treks in Nepal and features some of the finest mountain scenery anywhere on earth. The trek highlights the diversity of Nepal, terraced hillside villages, beautiful forest and spectacular mountain views. The Sanctuary is a great natural amphitheatre ringed by many snow covered peaks including the 8000m high Annapurna 1. This trip is a perfect first trek in Nepal and was featured in Michael Palin’s ‘Himalaya’ television series.
